Happy Christmas Tree to all, and to all a goodnight!

I have posted a short video greeting of Grace in front of our HUGE (10 ft.) Christmas Tree. We had oyster stew for dinner and I read Grace 'Twas the Night Before Chrsitmas'. We are totally set for Santa. He has four chimneys to choose from in our new house and Ellen, Betsy, and Mom Williams have been busy making cookies for ole St. Nick. Grace knows that Santa will be visiting and bringing lots of presents for her. We miss all our loved ones who can't join us for a Macon Christmas. Please know that you are all in our thoughts.

Much Love,

Craig

Grace and Daddy go to Visit Santa

Grace got her first exposure to Santa yesterday. She was unsure of what to do. She declined sitting on Santa's lap and rathered to watch from a safe distance. When she realized that candy was the reward for this vist she thought Santa might be alright. We approached and she still did not want to relax. Santa read us a book and in the end, the only way Grace would get into a picture with Santa is if I accompanied her. Here is the what happened.

It's December already?

I'm not ready. The holidays are coming a little too fast this year. It doesn't help that I arrived home from Michigan/Indiana four days later than anticipated. Driving alone with a two year old for that distance went surprisingly well, but I'm certainly happy that I divided the drive into two sections. Many thanks to Quentin's parents for housing Grace and me in Nashville for the night.

Today Craig and I officially lost our minds and bought a ten foot Christmas Tree. I'm hoping that our puchase will get me rolling in the holiday spirit ASAP. Once the tree is decked in holiday lights and ornaments, pictures will be taken and posted. We might even add pictures from our Indiana Thanksgiving/Christmas. We had a great time, by the way, and the highlight was meeting our niece, Anne Conley Byron. Grace was exceptionally loving to Baby Anne, and we hope this bodes well for baby on the way.

Well, that's enough. Pictures to come soon. I don't want to get behind again!
