"I need a seep in mama big bed"

That's what Grace said when I went up to her room for the second time after putting her to bed tonight. The first time she told me that she needed Daddy because she had a poo poo (what a good girl for requesting her dad). And this would just be a cute Grace bedtime story if she hadn't been up three more times with additional poopy diapers following the first. There's something wrong here. My hope is that this is a twenty-four hour bug. That's my first hope. My second is that Craig and I don't get sick with whatever has befallen our girl.

Grace has a very hearty constitution, so I don't often have to deal with illness. I don't know if that's all good though because when she does come down with something, I feel overwhelmed with inadequacy. I'm sure most parents feel this way when their children are sick, and there's clearly nothing to be done except to keep them hydrated and comfortable.

So I'm on hydration watch. It's what I can do.
